Howie Griffiths

Howie is a supply chain professional of many years standing. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply in the United Kingdom. He has worked in purchasing management roles within the engineering industry, the electronics industry, the defense industry, the plastics industry, and the furniture and soft furnishings industry. He was the managing director of a Plastics Thermoforming company for 14 years. Before he took early retirement to work as a freelance writer, specializing in all things supply chain, Howie worked in a consultative role in the furniture and soft furnishing industry. He was instrumental in setting up supply chains between the UK, Hong Kong, the Arab Emirates, and Bulgaria. He currently resides in Spain.

Brad Wilkins

Brad has been associated with global supply industry since he graduated from Detroit University Mercy where he majored in Business Administration. His is a certified member of the American Purchasing Society. Brad began his career in procurement working for Chrysler. As well as spending time in the automotive engineering industry he has also worked in the commodities marketplace. It was here that he gained his experience and expertise in soft commodities including the sourcing of commodities including cocoa, coffee, sugar, and wheat, from suppliers in the USA and around the world. As well as being a member of Supply Chain Stations team of expert writers he is also currently retained by one of the major American food manufacturers. He works on a consultative basis drawing on his intimate knowledge of international sourcing in soft commodities and his understanding of the workings of global supply chain.

James Watson

James is a supply chain professional who specializes in logistics. He holds a Masters Degree (MSc) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. He has an intimate knowledge of the global freight system. He has been instrumental in creating distribution networks across EMEA countries handling a wide range of products and commodities. These products and commodities include brown goods, white goods, and foods in the FCMG arena; as well as oil and petroleum based products, and raw materials including steel and aluminum. He is also very knowledgeable about the refrigerated transport industry. James now works as a global freelance consultant. His job takes him all over the world, but when home, he resides in Southampton in the UK.
